We knew LittleBigPlanet was coming somewhere in 2008, but what we didn’t expect is that it would be pretty far into the year until its release. Sony confirmed to CVG that the game will be available in September this year.

However, there are still possibilities of playing this game earlier than that. One of these posibilities is taking Kaz Hirai hostage, forcing him to let you play an early build, but a more realistic chance would be to hope you’re invited for the beta. Details about this beta haven’t been disclosed yet, but it will probably be at least a month before the release.
