If picking the right Playstation 3 bundle wasn’t hard enough already, Sony is planning to release three new bundles in the near future. Two of the bundles have been confirmed by a Sony employee, but the third one may only be available in France.

The first one contains a 40GB Playstation 3 unit, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue and a Sixaxis controller. The second bundle has the same hardware, but with three high profile Blu-ray movies: Casino Royale, Spider-Man 3 and 300. They will both retail for €399. The ingredients for the bundle that has been confirmed for France on March 19th remain secret for the time being.

Unfortunately there will be no bundle that includes the new Dual Shock 3 controller. US gamers will have the pleasure of picking one up in April, or wait for the Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle in Q2 this year.

Many people consider the GT series to be a system seller. If you still haven’t bought a PS3, will this perhaps push you over the edge?
