[E32008] Dragon Age console-bound
Initially, Bioware’s up-and-coming role-playing game, Dragon Age: Origins, was slated for release exclusively on the PC, but this week Bioware’s Greg Zeschuk confirmed that the game is also headed to consoles, albeit at a later date.
Dragon Age: Origins is being touted as a “spiritual successor” to the Baldur’s Gate series that will be heavy on plot, as well as action. The game features a dynamic camera system that follows the party in a third person “explore mode” while out of combat, and a top down camera mode while in combat. It is not yet known whether the game on consoles will vary in any way from its PC brother.
Dragon Age: Origins will appear on yet-to-be-specified console platforms sometime after its Q1 2009 release on the PC
