Rock Band 2 full albums exposed; Rush DLC delayed
As you have surely noticed by now, the Rush downloadable content still isn’t available for download on the Playstation Network and to stop you from biting your nails, Harmonix has sent word what exactly is going on. On a brighter note, Entertainment Weekly has the scoop on what full albums are planned to release for Rock Band 2 in the coming months.
First of all, Harmonix has made a post on the official forum, explaining that the Rush album download has been delayed:
“Hey everybody,
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, we won’t be able to release Rush’s “Moving Pictures” this week. We’ll be working on it as hard as we can, but it looks like it could be a couple of weeks to fix. In the meantime we will be moving around our schedule so we still have DLC coming out each week (including this week, info to follow in another announcement).
Look forward to some exciting news this weekend, from PAX and elsewhere.”
Next, in addition to a No Doubt “Best Of” compilation, the following albums are headed to Rock Band 2 in the coming months:
- Foo Fighters — “The Colour and the Shape”
- Red Hot Chili Peppers — “Blood Sugar Sex Magik”
- Jane’s Addiction — “Nothing’s Shocking”
- Megadeth — “Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying”
- Stevie Ray Vaughn — “Texas Flood”
It’s good to know that Harmonix isn’t planning to stop its excellent DLC support for Rock Band any time soon.
