A sample for Disney’s forthcoming explosive arcade racer Split/Second arrived exclusively on the Xbox Live Marketplace yesterday. Fret not PS3 owners, you’ll get your chance to take the racer for a test drive before it hits the streets, as the exclusivity will last only two weeks.

Scheduled for release on the Playstation Network on May 11, the demo features a three-lap track set in the Airport Terminal area where players can build up their power play meters by pulling off stunts and evading obstacles and then, in turn, set off events (read: big ass explosions), making the second trip around the track a new adrenaline-fueled experience.

Split/Second will be released in North America on May 18th and in Europe on May 21st for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
