NBA Live ‘07 canned
More bad news concerning the PS3s launch lineup. After the announcement that Sonic the Hedgehog is no longer a launchtitle, IGN also reports that the PS3 version of NBA Live ‘07 has been canceled. EA wants to devote all their time to the fourth installment of the NBA Street series, called NBA Street: Homecourt. Judging by the poor quality of the EA Sports’ launchtitles for the Xbox 360 last year we’re shouldn’t be too sorry.
“We are concentrating our efforts on creating a spectacular NBA Street: Homecourt [instead of porting NBA Live 07],” said David Tinson, Public Relations Manager, EA Canada. “[Homecourt] is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 early next year.”

I don’t know if you’d really call this bad news, the removal of an already provenly terrible game made by a terrible company from the launch doesn’t seem to matter, was anyone actually going to buy this piece of shit?
