Full Auto coming to PSP, with screenshots
Full Auto 2 was already confirmed to be a PS3 exclusive months ago, but it has now been announced that a PSP version is on it’s way, and will add new elements to the game, but at the same time keeping the idea of guns and cars.
I actually enjoyed the demo of Full Auto that was released on the Xbox Live Marketplace many months ago, but it was poorly received in general, for various reasons. So PSP fans may not be too excited by this news, but nonetheless it’s a worthy addition to the PSP’s catalog.
The game has some exclusive stuff too:
In addition, the PSP version features exclusive content. This includes a new 56-event story mode for single-player, 15 cars designed for the handheld outing that you can get behind the wheel of, new weapons and multiplayer modes - supporting 1 to 4 players - created specifically for Full Auto 2 on the machine.
Pretty good exclusives right there, and nice to see multiplayer being carried over; this is the type of game that benefits from such things. It’s also reassuring to know that both versions (PS3 and PSP) will be different, perhaps warranting a buy, even if you have both systems.
It’s strange though that despite this port, there is still not going to be a 360 version. One factor may be the poor sales; give it up on that system, try your luck at a diiferent one. But never mind, this franchise will not be sorely missed by anyone in the 360 world. A shame, but that is life.
Full Auto 2 is scheduled for a Sprung 2007 release, for anyone at all excited over this game.
