Guitar hero I II and 80's works on PS3. I have them using Pega ps2 to ps3 adaptor! It works perfect! No lag or calibration needed. The only thing that doesn't work is the whammy bar. And As for Wireless Guitars, They work too. I have the offical Red Octane Wireless and the Nyko and they both work great with the pega adaptor. I found this adaptor on Ebay.

omg u people are idiots.

sony sells a converter for the ps2-ps3, it plugs the ps2 controller into an end and the other side is a USB port, on the front is a button that acts as the ps button, so it has to work

There is a USB Attachement that you can buy, that converts the standard DualShock from PS2 and PS1 to work with the PS3. ANd it DOES WORK with GH2. Not sure if any of you have tried this, I have and it worked fine. Available at Circuit City, Best Buy, Future Shop. Easier to find online.
