Yeah okay, tell that to the install base of each console, take you a lot longer to tell the 360 crowd.

And as for your comment about "chinks" are you drunk?

Ah trolls with no brains or facts, the amuse me.

It's obvious that if any one could choose rumble or no rumble 99.9% of users would want it. But I actually got a PS3 a week ago today and honestly I've been playing Resistance day and night which is an intense game, one that would've had rumble if the feature was there, and after the first hour it never crossed my mind again. That is until I read this article. A week after my purchase, revisiting this topic here I'd have to say while playing the PS3 I realized rumble was and will never be a feature that could make or break a game. It was just an extra goody, none-the-less an awesome extra goody. The motion-sensitivity is truly an extra feature that is dynamic to gameplay and has the potential to add boat loads more to a players experience. Sony gave a solid preview of the new controllers capibilities among its launch titles and has upcoming killer apps such as Warhawk that take full advtange of the motion-sensitivity. But just like Nintendo, Sony will have to convince publishers to ultimately have their developers take advantage of this feature so there's more than just first party support. This may prove deadly to Microsoft or Nintendo. Microsoft, since the majority of systems out have motion-sensitive controllers as a standard third party software may take an aggressive stance on supporting this feature. While if this feature doesn't catch on Nintendo will take a huge third party hit. Especially because Wii is so focused on the controller and the machine's power isn't in par with PS3 or 360 it may prove to limit blockbuster games from ever making it onto the system. Ones that will push millions of systems for Nintendo's competitors. Sony is actually sitting good here because no matter which direction the support for this feature takes they won't be affected too badly but one of their competitors will take a huge hit.

By the way PS3 is incredible and worth picking up. It's worth the wait and the price. Although it helps to have an HDTV for PS3 take it from a standard NTSC 480i television owner that you don't need it to get your moneys worth. Wii looks great too. I'll plead the fifth on the 360s future.

I've tried to get into MGS games twice. I bought and played a game on the PS1 and PS2. Both games I HATED. It's just my opinion, but I think MGS games blow.

God do you really have to come up with your holier than thou intellect for eveything.

What genre did MGS start anyway, CGI film with added minigames? Splinter Cell does the whole thing better.

I only compare it to Halo 3 in terms of popularity and what it did for the Xbox. MGS does the same, only for the Playstation brand. In no way do I mean that Halo is similar as a game to MGS. We all know that MGS is far superior than anything Halo could ever do.

Personally I would never compare the MGS series to the Halo series. Halo is a series that has never broken out of the mold for the FPS genre, and a series that I have always thought, while good, is far from the best shooter series ever. MGS on the other hand and the original metal gear invented the genre and have refined it through the years and has always set the bar, even with hitman and splinter cell in competition. And its not simply because of gameplay quality and depth. Its because of the presentation, no other game in the genre can come close to the presentation of any MGS title. Although the most recent Splinter Cell was very well done in its own right.

And the only way Sony is going to ship more systems for MGS4 are going to be if they have some kind of price reduction, $500 is still too much money just to play one title.
