Resistance patch on the way
Lead multiplayer programmer Eric Ellis of Insomniac revealed today that the team is working on a patch (already? IW they are not) for their PS3 launch title Resistance: Fall of Man. Most changes will involve team tactics and game balancing, according to Ellis’ blog.
I can’t yet talk about all the things we’ve changed, but I really think that people will be very pleased to see how responsive this is to some concerns that have come out since we went live.
Resistance comes from Insomniac, who gave us the original Spyro the Dragon games on the original PlayStation and the Ratchet and Clank series on the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable, and who look to have a bright future on Sony’s new console if this game’s scores (which are the highest in the entire PlayStation 3 launch) and promptness with bug fixes are any indication.
