Ubisoft’s lineup for Europe

Ubisoft hasn’t released any games for the PS3 besides Blazing Angels yet, but that’s about to change when the console comes out in Europe. The titles aren’t exactly new since 4 out of 5 have been released on other platforms, but not all of them are direct ports. Splinter Cell: Double Agent features new content in the form of extra multiplayer maps for instance.

It was also rumored that Splinter Cell would get support for the tilt functionality of the SIXAXIS controller in some form but that hasn’t been confirmed so far so we’ll just have to wait. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will also get some additional content even though it’s not really that exclusive. This game will be shipped with some extras that Xbox 360 users had to pay for and download separately from the Xbox Live Marketplace. The only downside to this is that the Xbox 360 version has dropped in price so even if you download all the extras you’ll end up having the same content for the same amount of money.

    Ubisoft’s release list for Europe:

  • Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2
  • Splinter Cell: Double Agent
  • Rainbow Six: Vegas
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  • Blazing Angels

All these games will be available at the unknown launchdate of the PS3 in Europe somewhere in March along with games from other publishers of course.
