@ The_Glovner

I hope you realize a simple software problem, that can easily be fixed by a patch aka software upgrade, can't be compared to hardware problem, where a system crashes from over heating, and you get the black screen of death etc..

Nah, using the plural is correct in British English. It's used all over the media, quite common really. A company being a plural made up of individuals, y'see.

Big Deal. The next day Sony fixed the problem with the 1.51 update.

At least Sony is not having Hardware Problems like the 360, and that the problems can be fixed in a few days.

Yeah when i posted this bit of news my comment was

Why do Sony keep kicking themselves in the teeth? I think they will soon nail it with another update. Having said that at least they haven't bricked any machines like a certain other manufacturer managed to do with a system update, people seem to forget very quickly.

"[W]e’ll just have to wait and see what Sony suggest…when they get round to it."

Corporations are referred to using the singular conjugation of "to be." A corporation *is* an entity, and *it* decides things. Legally, a corporation is considered an individual, and grammatically it is a single entity as well.

I have experienced this freezing. I have Netflix and have watched 3 Blu-ray movies since the 1.5 update. The first two I had zero problems with. The other night, I watched "Omen 666". Three or four times during the movie, it froze for about 5 seconds. The first time I thought I had hit pause, but the remote was not in my hand. I had remembered hearing about this problem. So, figured that is what it was.

I do seem to remember many arguments with the PS3 Fanboys on how they believed that the PS3 unlike the 360 would launch without issues and no system problems like freezing.

Sniff Sniff.... Is that bullshit I smell?
