We all heard the announcement through various outlets, and we all saw the now famous tattoo sported by Peter Moore. It will be refreshing to hear then that the game is still definitely on track for the October release that was promised back at E3 last year.

The exclusivity issue is for the DLC that will be available after the game has been released. In a Take Two conference call discussing financial doings, they reiterated that the game was on course, and also revealed that exclusive episodic content will be going live in 2008, without any suggestion of what month.

A trailer of the game will also be going live on the 29th March, according to the official website which bears nothing other than a logo and a countdown timer. IGN took the time out to ask Rockstar for any further details, who responded with the following:

“Nope,” remarked the spokesperson we chatted with. “There’s nothing else we can add to that.”

Obviously the countdown timer is continually moving, something this screenshot doesn’t portray very well

Therefore we don’t know whether it’s a teaser trailer, whether it’s in-game footage for the 360 or the PS3, or where it is located. Something will surely be revealed come the end of March, but for now you will just have to sit tight and dream up some elaborate story as to what will be in the trailer.
