Ninja Gaiden Sigma harder than hard?

Originally released on Xbox, Ninja Gaiden: Black is notorious for its insane difficulty and to some, remains the Devil May Cry killer, God knows why. In September last year it was confirmed by Japanese magazine Famitsu that the Playstation 3 would be receiving its own version of the ninja fighting game with the release of Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Well, we’re glad to announce that a few more details have come to light.

The new Ninja Gaiden Sigma will feature:

  • Graphically upgraded everything; backgrounds, textures, enemies, characters, animations
  • Running at a consistent 60 FPS in 720p
  • The option to fully or partially install the game to your PS3 hard drive in a bid to reduce load times
  • 19 chapters, that’s three more than the original
  • And the scariest thing? Apparently it’s going to be even harder

It’s been noted that most of the changes apply to a new playable character, Rachel, who comes with her own attacks, animations, story missions and a stack of other items.
