even if it is a rip off(which i don’t think it is) i couldn’t care less, it’s a great game, one of the best i’ve ever played, maybe if u weren’t to busy trying to protect ur precious blood omen series u could see that

They should change the name of this game from god of war 2 to “get ready to hit the square button a million times part 2″, complete rip off mechanically of the blood omen series, most sony fans are too thick to see that.

Excellent doesn’t mean perfect. Read the description. And even if it meant perfect, God of War II deserves it, stop whining.

I agree, it is immense as a game. If this is what they can get out of PS2 after 7 or so years then the mind boggles with the PS3. Like you say Lotus, sometimes you forget it is still a last gen game when playing, particuarly if you are running it on PS3. For me, in terms of enjoyment, looks and sheer gaming quality this is up there with anything I have played over the last year and that has mainly been 360 stuff. Quite an acheivement and well worth £30.

Fully deserves 10/10 for it really is perfect in it’s genre.

I can’t wait to see what the PS3 version of this game will be like, as this is as Nino points out truly marvellous to look at, i forget when i am playing it on my PS3 that it is a PS2 game, only a few muddy textures and blocky cut scenes let it down.
