After three successful entries into the Midnight Club series of racing games-with-a-twist, UK outfit Rockstar Games has confirmed that a next-generation edition is on its way to not only the Xbox 360, but the PlayStation 3 as well.

The fourth edition of the franchise, titled ‘Midnight Club: Los Angeles’, is currently down for an early 2008 release and will be worked on by the San Diego division, as has been the case with previous iterations. The games are not just mere racing titles as the atmosphere is much more fierce and the competition hotter than you may expect as you drive across the streets at break-neck speeds, in a game that is akin to the popular movie The Fast and the Furious.
