DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 confirmed for PS2

For all you Dragonball fans, this is great news. On the gameswank.com forums, someone found some pictures in Japanese who then asked someone in the community to translate for them. The new DBZ title was confirmed, and new info about the game was revealed.

DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is said to have at least 150 characters. If that isn’t enough for you, then you’ll also be pleased with the new characters that will make their way into the game.

From the forums:

Dragonball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 has been confirmed for both the Wii & PS2. It should be on store shelves later this year and looks to have a swagger of new features.

While details are scarce we do know that the game will feature at least 150 characters in total

New Characters to the DBZ:BT series includes-

King Vegeta
King Cold
Nail

The Wii and PS2 versions both have different dev teams working on it probably because of the awesome Wiimote functionality that’s bound to be included as with DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2’s intuitive controls were.

Look for DBZ: BT3 later this year.

This will be a re-hash of bt2 just like BT2 was of bt1 except with new characters and one or two ‘original’ features. I used to love this series but they just killing it(can they, for once, make a bt game thats entertaining for more than an hour?)

I agree. I should just throw away the engine they are using and get some real special effects in there instead of the same old boring effects. The ground shattering around them as they power up or the blasts destroying the battle field around them

YH I AGREE TO BOTH . IN BT2 NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS AS LONG AS YOU WIN EVEN IF YOU WON PERFECT THE END IS ALWAYS THE SAME !

I love this series. i would like to see all of cells abilities utilaized in thsi game personally. Like his ability to grow to large sizes due to picollos cells, ect ect. i hope this game has an unlimited levels system aswell it sucked topping out at level 160 then that being it i prefer more of a role playing type deal(as far as charactor abilities go), but with the same kind of fighting as in DBZ BT2.

God Bless
Ben
