Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is already available for a while worldwide in the Playstation Store, but unlike almost every other fighting game nowadays it doesn’t have an online mode. This is about to change because Famitsu magazine revealed that Namco is preparing a patch which enables online gaming.

Unfortunately this patch comes at a small price, 2800 Yen ($23 USD) for the full online enabled download or 1000 Yen ($8 UDS) if you only want the patch. It’s not sure if the old version remains available for people that don’t care about the updates. Other new features include online rankings, practice mode and survival mode which are all pretty self-explanatory. An official date hasn’t been released yet but this update can’t be too far away.

If you’re in European Territory, the game is a steal for only €9,99. If you want to profit from this low price you’ll have to hurry since it’ll only be valid until June 22nd.
