GT5 scans from Famitsu

Sucking news from the Japanese magazine Famitsu has been the only way to find out more information regarding Gran Turismo 5 and the standard series taster to be released shortly, GT5 Prologue. A series of five large sized scans from the latest Famitsu are now up online and we’ve got them here for your viewing.

Featuring some of the first images of in-car footage and typical drive by shots, Gran Turismo 5 is looking unbelievably detailed. All the car models look smooth, crisp and even the spectators appear to be well rendered. Personal favourite has to be the Dodge on page 5, with its sexy curves meticulously rounded and a nice set of mags – doesn’t make it any less of a beast to handle though. The lighting and reflection off every inch of the cars looks promising also, the dash board, steering-wheel and drivers arms appearing to be as well shaded as the exterior.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be available for download for Japanese PS Stores in October, however a worldwide release date has yet to be announced.

that was from Photo mode, it uses real time grfx, but you can’t drive there.
