The guys from Gametrailers.com shot a video of LittleBigPlanet where they and Creative Director of the game Mark Healey create two characters. They’re created with the in-game tools and it only takes a few minutes for them to make some shapes out of cardboard, texture them and then add some animations.

During the video, Healey explains what he’s doing so the other guy can copy him. The shapes and textures you see in this video are only a small portion of what the full version will ship with. You can make your own photographs with the new Playstation Eye Camera, load it from a USB stick or simply download it from the Playstation Store eventually.

Littlebigplanet is supposed to ship somewhere early next year.
