As for the combat system and the incentive to be re-played, I also beg to differ. As it stands, I find the combat system and appearance of the fights that result from it quite enjoyable. You got lucky with button mashing? Try Hell mode (which you should have unlocked if you beat the game), where you need to be expert in blocking and counter-attacking and get destroyed if you just mash buttons. Overall, I think the game’s exotic blocking system and the different stances offer something fresh for the hack ‘n slash combat systems out there. Heck, I enjoy even the cannon and sniper missions in this game *because* of the Aftertouch feature, so even if there’s little in-game incentive to re-play sections per se, there’s an awesome game that wants to be played, not just an awesome presentation. It’s just not everybody’s cup of tea. I’m just amused sometimes how many people seem to be copying their critique or bashing of this title from eachother.

What I would have given it -> 8.5/10

But again if you compare average review scores, the 360’s games are scoring higher. End of.

The only way to really settle an arguement like that is by looking at the average reviews of the games and if you take the time to look you will see a lot more 360 games witht higher scores.

But then again since variety seems to be a big selling point for you maybe the Wii isn’t the best console, since you will be leaving yourself with the two consoles (which in my and most of the rest of the gaming worlds opinion) have the lesser amount of variety available.

I think what I do is point out two of the “facts” that are used by the Sony Fanboy brigade with regularity and put the “fact” into a more realistic perspective than the usual half information version that gets touted.

I was complaining about Sony fanboys because thats what the conversation was on (you me see I made a mention towards Nintendic aswell), however I pretty much deplore any fanboy actions (360 inculded), but as the conversation was not on 360 I felt no need to mention it.

Personally I don’t think what I am doing is trolling. I am a gamer, not a fanboy. So I come to playstatic to read what has been going on in the world of PS3 (don’t forget, I did have a PS, still have a PS2 and a PSP so don’t really think it’s fair to say I have any biase against Sony). After I read the article if I feel I need to comment on something I will. However I will always try to do it in a balanced way (but still from my point of view as I am not really in a position to answer it from anyone elses). If I have given criticism in the past (even when replying to Augustus, an example can be seen from the time I took to intelligently lay down eveything for him not to even bother reading it and dismissing everything there without actually having any knowledge about what was contained).

I go on to Nintendic too, however over there don’t really feel the need to reply as much as the points people make are not laced with anything like the Sony spin you see in here.

So all I am doing is pulling people up for misleading facts and offering an alternative opinion for their interpretation of the facts.

Things like “Sony sales up 175% in UK”, quickly turns into comment after comment about how the PS3 shits on 360. That annoys me, it’s careful use of the facts, 175% increase of very fucking little to start with isn’t really that great a thing.

“PS3 uses Blu-Ray discs allowing more information to be stored to make for greater games, R:FoM, that used so much disc space that it couldn’t ever hope get on a DVD-9 for the 360″, okay then. But should we bother looking at this a little closer then and point out that to reduce loading times on the Blu-Ray, they added the same code numerous times for each individual level so filling up disc space that they didn’t have to if they were using more advanced compression methods and better programming architecture.

So thats my viewpoint and if you think thats trolling well fair enough, but compare my responses to the quality of the statements I get in return and it might put it into perspective on who is actually responsible for the trolling. (Looking at you Bot)

Seem to forget to mention that Oblivion had longer development time on the PS3, being that it came out over half a year later.
