There’s been a whole load of Metal Gear Solid 4 news today. After the jump we have a round up of all the gossip, including a trailer that wasn’t meant to be available just yet, as well as news of an MGS Online and MGS 4 bundle. Oh and did we mention that MGS 4 will be playable in Tokyo?

Firstly, it was announced at the Konami Press Conference that Metal Gear Solid Online will be bundled with the full retail version of MGS 4. Titled “Starter Pack”, it will give gamers a taste of what to expect in the sixteen player multiplayer warfareCertainly a nice accompaniment to the single player game (this was first told in Leipzig, bu re-confirmed at TGS).

It has also been revealed that there will be fifty booths available to test out the new Metal Gear for both the single and multiplayer experience. You’ll also be rewarded with a 52-page brochure about the game too, which is not something to scoff at.

Next up: the much-anticipated trailer. This isn’t meant to be available just yet, but thankfully a Korean site decided to break an embargo and release the footage. How kind of them.

Despite the trailer being in Japanese, a handy script was provided for all those that don’t understand the language, and Joystiq were kind enough to post it in its entirety. Now it all makes sense! It seems some old faces are returning which is great, and it certainly seems that the humour has been rightfully retained.

Pretty exciting times right now out in Tokyo then, as people get to go hands on with the game over the next few days. MGS 4 is still expected in early 2008, and as the trailer says above, Konami are going for a worldwide release. Seeing is believing, so don’t get your hopes up just yet for that one.
