Dual Shock 3 officially unveiled

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s somewhat unsurprising revelation that the Dual Shock 3 will feature the much coveted rumble feature, Sony has officially confirmed at their TGS press conference that that is indeed the case.

As revealed yesterday, the Dual Shock 3 will sport both the motion sensing six-axis and rumble functionality. Set for a November debut in Japan and Spring 2008 release in North America and Europe, Sony’s answer to months of hoo-hah will be sold separately from the Playstation 3. The pricing, on the other hand, is currently unknown.

I wonder what the battery life will be with the rumble?? And I’m glad it only took about a year to figure out how to have Sixaxix control and rumble together at last, lol

rumble is overrated. oh my god my controller shook i feel like i’m inside my tv…

bullshit. it’s just a gimmick.

oh. so you like getting ripped apart in an FPS then?

Rumble is important. End of. Sony lied once again. Get over it

what are you talking about? I’ll destroy you in an FPS, with or without rumble. Make sense.

fps games suck ass without rumble, thats a fact of life. thats why the only fps i own on my PS3 is resistance, every other one i own is for 360

WOW you guys are funny making fun of each other randomly over nothing just like most adults who never grow up and fight over stuff just because they have nothing better to do. Each system has their perks and you just need to accept the fact of diversity in gaming is always gonna be there so you should stop bashing each other over what console is better than the next because really it comes down to opinion even with statistics on which processes better or which has the better graphics or which has the better interactivity. I have all of this gens consoles and each bring something the other doesn’t and I’m glad I’m not a biased person on gaming because I’d be missing out on alot of stuff if I did. Don’t go bashing something just because you’re a PS fan or an Xbox boy. And don’t tell me “Oh ya i’ve played both and the PS3(or xbox) is the gayest piece of crap thats ever been made” because I know you’re full of crap.

xD makes a good point…ive never been into the whole bashing and all…its all personal preference and all the companies are trying to have something for you to have fun with.. i play tournaments with halo 2 with my friends and we all have a ball…then we do tournaments with socom 3 and have a ball…

im not being mean about this its just that i think its just about time people act like adults…YOU get the system that you like, easy as that…Dont put down sony and m$ for trying to do what they can do to make your life enjoyable
